I just can't imagine anyone else playing Starbuck at all. But based on the series bible I picture someone more like Michele Forbes in the role. Forbes is fantastic, but I think Katee's youth/exuberance did so much to balance out the harder aspects of Kara, that I can't imagine anyone else's portrayal being so captivating.

Hmmm. Come to think of it, I've only written about Kara's tattoos through Lee's eyes/POV previously...
