I'm so relieved to hear you say that. I'm a little wary of writing Adama - he reminds me of my own (military) father in a lot of ways, not all of them good, so I have to be very careful not to let that color what I do with him. I'm glad you think it felt right.

And I'm glad you prefer it to the canon ending too. For what it's worth, in my world, this scene goes from 'gen' to 'pilot-shippy' about thirty seconds after Lee enters the picture, so. >.> :D?
