Katee or Kara?

So....this little hair twirly move.... I wouldn't have known it at the time of course (and Starbuck's hair is usually too short to do this for most of the show), but this is a Katee move. When else do you think we've gotten glimpses of Katee instead of Kara? (I know several of her laughing scenes were actually Katee naturally reacting to things...)

I could swear there was a story about when she falls over laughing in the I LOVE KARA THRAAAACE scene, it was really because she was cracking up at Jamie's flesh underwear thing.

I remember that from the commentary. Grace Parks was helping with the commentary(wish they'd had the actors do more--RDM was boring) and remarked about how it was totally Katee laughing at Jamie.

It'd be an interesting question to ask Katee: Does she figures out a few mannerisms, such as lower lip bite/roll that Kara does, or if they just come out based on the emotion of the scene?

oooh...I love it when Katee shines through the Starbuck demeanor. I think we see more of that than we realize.

Yup, because he was rather exuberant and it was...uh...bouncing. Lol. I think she told that to the radio show guys she always visits in Portland. I'm totally blanking on their names now.

Yeah, as I rewatch now that I've seen so many more interviews, videos, ustreams, panels, etc., it's easier to see the bits of Katee.

One thing that I remain (even more so) impressed by is the tone of voice she uses as Kara...or as Starbuck more often than not. Very commanding/distinctive.

Lol, this is a topic that, like you, I've noticed more and more, but I try not to think about. I like Kara waaayyy more than I like Katee (though I love both!), so I try to block it out!
