Double Take

Was looking at Emmy nomination page a few minutes ago and a still shot of a video in the corner of page caught my eye:






I was extremely excited for a few seconds, but it's Gillian Jacobs from Community, not our beloved Katee. Still, looks a lot like her in this darkened shot with a play arrow ghosted over her face! Hee. (Not so much when the video rolls...)

I see a lot of suggestions of people who look like Katee online, but I never usually see the resemblance. I think her face is just too unique/familiar to me. But occasionally, I can see it. This particular shot of Romola Garai below, definitely reminds me of Katee (although other pictures of her, not so much). There's a shot of Kara in comparison just for shits and giggles. 




So who do you think looks like Katee/Kara, if anyone?

I generally don't think that Katee looks like anyone, although in that picture, yeah, Romola and she do share certain feature types.

Weirdly enough when she was in CSI I thought she looked like Mary McCormack, even though she had red and not blonde hair and I've never thought they looked alike when they both have blonde hair, I don't know where that came from.

Generally though she is just unique looking, I think :)

I've heard it said that Katee looks like a young, not-messed-up Courtney Love, and I guess if you squint at old photos of Courtney there's a bit of resemblance, but not much.

And I don't think Katee looks too much like anyone either, though if someone cast her and Romola in a movie as sisters (which would be amazing, since they're both brilliant actresses) I could totally buy it.
