What do you think about the name Kara Thrace? What associations does it bring for you? Do you think of the ancient Greek tribe of Thracian warriors? Kara means "beloved" (after the italian word "cara" and Latin word "carus" both meaning beloved or dear) and "friend." Also: "pure" in Greek. If you anagram Kara Thrace, you can get plenty of interesting combos:
