you know, I was thinking to that scene too. it's interesting because apparently Kara's past is not a secret. according to that deleted scene at least Adama, Lee and Dee know about it. the interesting is that Dee knows, if it was a personal confidence Dee wouldn't know. so I guess Kara's childhood is public, and it make sense considering that they are in the military with the records and everything... I like this, because is not like something that Kara has to hide and to be ashamed, I think it's healthier if is not a secret.
