I think that Adama's tabbing of Garner as captain was a surprising mistake on his part. With Garner's lack of leadership skills, I'm surprised that Adama didn't coach him or have Tigh do it. Kara's being in his face so glaringly surprised me. She seemed more willing to publicly put up with Tigh, while she voraciously criticized him privately. Her "venting....accurately" seemed less professional from her, but it was truly an accurate assessment. Still she seemed over the top. That said, the over the top was awesome to watch. Plus she still seemed to be working out her guilt over shooting Lee. Dayam that Dee in sickbay! Kara needed to be there. *end rant*

It didn't surprise me. I think Kara sees new people in her life as having to earn her trust, and she didn't think Garner was fit for command. Plus, being "outcast" to the Pegasus probably had her in a bad mood to begin with.
