I still get thrills thinking about this scene. It was an exciting, unexpected, profound look into Kara's character. We learned so much about her here-- the art, her father, her love of music. It felt just on the border of invasive, like watching Kara pray. Because she's so secretive, and you know she doesn't tell people about these sides of her. But as viewers, we're privileged to be able to find out. :-D

It is really awesome that we got to see this private side to Kara, a privilege we didn't get with the other main characters hardly at all, or at least until much later in the show. It's so incongruous to even think of Kara having an every day life in some ways...
