I've always wondered if the nice place that we see in the Daybreak flashback is suppose to be Kara's 'pre-deadZak' place, and what we see in these pics are what it became in the aftermath of his death?

I assumed it was, but they did use the same apartment for pretty much everything--Leoben's dollhouse, Sharon's apartment in downloaded, Daybreak flashbacks.

Yeah, pretty sure. Kara's painting are on the wall in the flashbacks.

They did like to reuse that set a lot. It did make sense for Leoben's "dollhouse". The rest... reeks of budget.

I think so...although I tend to prefer the VoD version, I can see how the DB version might have been possible at a heathier point in Kara's life.

In my head I tend to see them as separate apartments though, FWIW. (kinda like the fic that plays it as Kara's 'official' apartment vs. her hidden art studio refuge apartment)

I thought it was the same place, since the mandala drawing was already painted on during the DB flashback, and it looks like she painted the poem from VoD over that same mandala (in my head,she did it after his death).
