It seems like we say this a lot around here: "Poor Kara! She  needs a hug!" So I thought we should have a Hug-a-thon this weeekend!
 
Post pretty pictures of her receiving hugs (or giving them!) Talk about your favorite in-canon Kara hugs or maybe that time when she REALLY should have been hugged but wasn't. Or really should've hugged someone but didn't! Draw a picture of Kara hugs! Write a drabble or fic about hugging! There's all kinds of potential reasoning/kinds of hugs she could be giving or receiving: friendship, gratitude, support, comfort, elation, etc.

Kara needed hugs so many times in season 4.5. like at the end of "someone to watch over me", when she realized that her father was a vision. I wanted Tigh hugging her damn it, but he was too occupied with FF bullshits.

and I also hated that during the mutiny Lee received like three hugs from his dad and Kara nothing. but it's true that she was all in combat mode at that time... I'm always quite jealous when it comes to Kara.

she also needed a hug in sickbay when she was assisting Sam. and of course before, when she was waiting news about Sam's operation. but again, the FF were to busy with their stupid problems. I really think that Tigh should have hugged her, or at lest put a hand on her shoulder.

It will always gall me that there was no hug for Kara at the almost end of Revelations when they were all celebrating.

the first time I saw the scene in the CIC I was thinking all the time "where the frak is Kara? everyone is hugging, why in the the hell she's not there!" and then she was in the frakking Memorial Hallway. ok, she had to deal with the all "my husband is a cylon" but I wanted her in the CIC hugging Lee and Papadama and Laura (well maybe Laura didn't deserve an hug at the time, but Kara would give it anyway...)

is like in Exodus2 when everyone is celebrating and Kara and Tigh are devastated. it's so sad... but it's also true that in the end it's what makes bsg such a wonderful show. if it was all happiness and flowers probably we wouldn't be so involved...

still, Kara needs more hugs. thanks the gods we have fanfics!
